CREATOR PROGRAM PRIVACY NOTICE
This notice explains how information is handled when you apply for or participate in the LOOKSGOOD.AU × THE YARN creator program. It supplements the store privacy policy.
1. Information we may collect
Depending on how you use the creator program, information may include your name, email address, creator-profile link, information you provide about your content or audience, communications with us, referral link or creator-code details, attributed visits and eligible sales, commission records, payout settings and other information reasonably required to administer the program.
Creator-account login credentials are handled through the GoAffPro platform. We do not need creators to send passwords to us by email or chat.
2. Why we use it
We use creator-program information to assess applications, operate creator accounts, attribute eligible activity, calculate and review commission, prevent fraud or self-referral, communicate about the program, make authorised payments, maintain records and comply with applicable legal obligations.
3. Expressions of interest
An expression of interest is not a purchase, preorder or reservation and does not create creator commission. Referral information associated with an EOI may be recorded for attribution context, but commission is based on eligible paid sales.
4. Service providers
The program uses third-party services including Shopify for the store and GoAffPro for creator-program functionality. Business communications may also use third-party email and productivity services. These providers may process information outside Australia as part of providing their services.
5. Customer information
The creator program is not intended to give creators unnecessary access to customer personal information. Creator-facing CRM functionality is not part of the current program configuration. Creators must not attempt to obtain, copy or misuse customer information through referral activity.
6. Referral tracking
Referral links, creator codes and related technologies may be used to attribute eligible activity. Tracking can depend on browser, device, consent and provider behaviour. We do not promise attribution where the relevant tracking data is unavailable, invalid or overridden under the program rules.
7. Payments and fraud review
Payment-related information may be collected where reasonably required to pay approved commission or satisfy tax, accounting, verification or fraud-prevention requirements. Do not provide payment information until the creator portal requests it through the appropriate workflow.
8. Retention
We retain creator-program records for as long as reasonably required to operate the program, resolve commission or dispute issues, meet accounting or legal obligations and maintain appropriate fraud and audit records. Information no longer reasonably required may be deleted or de-identified where appropriate.
9. Security
We take reasonable steps to protect creator-program information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access or disclosure. No internet-based system can guarantee absolute security.
10. Access, correction and questions
You can update available creator-profile information through the creator portal. For privacy questions, correction requests or other creator-program privacy enquiries, contact hello@theyarn.xyz.
11. Applicable law
Where Australian privacy law applies to our handling of personal information, we will handle that information consistently with the requirements that apply to us. This notice does not limit rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
